TCCC#9: Week 2 of White Shabby Chic

Hello Third Coasters!

It's week 2 of our White Shabby Chic Challenge!   The challenge ends Nov 21 at 7am so set aside some stamping time this weekend and enter your interpretation of White Shabby Chic for the chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Third Coast Rubber Stamps!

I challenge you to create a White Shabby Chic project that consists of white on white layers.  All cardstock used must be either white or off white!  ABSOLUTELY NO COLOURED CARDSTOCK!  You can also use white and off white embellishments and ribbons, etc!  You can stamp your images in black or any other colour ink and add touches of colouring.

All kinds of projects are welcome from ATCs to altered creations but you MUST rubber stamp at least one image!  You are welcome to use rubber stamps and digi stamps from any company but to qualify for the prize or the Coterie Top 3 you must use at least one Third Coast rubber stamp and have it as the focal point of your project.

I've been busy creating and have another card to give you an idea of what White Shabby Chic is all about!  Click here if you missed my WSC card from Week 1!

***FYI - The next challenge theme is Advent Calendars and starts Nov 23!
I'm looking for either functional Advent Calendars or projects that have the Countdown to Santa's arrival as the theme!***

 Have a great weekend!!

TCCC#9: White Shabby Chic!

Hello Third Coasters!

It's TGI Third Coast Friday time again and I hope you're all ready for a brand new challenge!

First a quick note about the TCCC#8 GAME of THRONES challenge.  I extended the deadline in consideration of stampers affected by Hurricane Sandy.  But I guess you weren't inspired by the theme coz we didn't have any entries so I closed it :0(  However, if you actually were planning to enter then please leave me a comment on this post and I will re-open the challenge for you!

Now for the new challenge, I hope this one will inspire you ;0)

I challenge you to create a White Shabby Chic project that consists of white on white layers.  All cardstock used must be either white or off white!  ABSOLUTELY NO COLOURED CARDSTOCK!  You can also use white embellishments and ribbons, etc!  You can stamp your images in black or any other colour ink and add a tiny amount of colouring to the images but keep the colouring to the absolute minimum!

If you're not sure what this challenge really means then do a google image search for 'White Shabby Chic' and check out all the shabby yet elegant bedroom photos that come up.  You'll understand once you see the photos ;0)

But of course I've got a project to give you some inspiration too!  My tutorial will be up on my blog in the next few days so I hope you'll stop by to check it out ;0)
